When buying a mobility vehicle, there are a number of things you should consider:

1. Lifestyle Matters- e.g. Is the van being used for day to day errands or is it being used mainly for Dr. visits?

2. Service After the Sale- Specialised Product. Are you dealing with reputable dealership?

3. Reliable Accessible Conversion- Does the brand you are looking at buying offer local service? Is it still in business?

4. What type of wheelchair securement would you need? Perhaps an auto locking tie down system would be best for the person securing the passenger? What would be the ideal location?

5. What additional features will be needed to create independence? E.g. Will the person in the wheelchair be the driver thus needing hand controls installed? If so, is the vehicle you are looking at compatible with them?
